How it all started...

We met while attending The Ohio State University. Abraham graduated with honors with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Business, and Laura earned a degree in technical theatre. After graduating, we moved to Texas and followed our career goals, but we also discovered our love of working on homes together. We bought and renovated many investment properties during our time in Texas. Abe’s construction skills from working on the farm and from laying tile with an Amish farmer fit well with Laura’s design training in theatre and her love of working with tools.

From Our Family to Yours

With the arrival of their first child, Abraham and Laura moved back to Ohio to raise their new daughter around family. They bought Abraham’s childhood home and completely renovated it. Working with contractors was frustrating and they discovered they enjoyed doing the work themselves. And this led them to a new career. They started Quality Kitchens and devoted their time and skill to offering customers valued work and a satisfying contractor experience.
